I'm looking for advice on what to try next... My husband (45m) and I (38f) are both fit and active and have been TTC for 6 months. It hasn't been an easy 6 months - we've had two international trips, covid, hiking injuries, and the flu. Throughout this, we have managed to time sex consistently around ovulation. I was on the Kyleena IUD for just under two years and had it removed prior to ovulating on the "first" cycle. We have done a lot of testing and everything is in the normal range: AMH = 2.13, day 3 FSH and thyroid = normal, 21-day progesterone testing to confirm ovulation = confirmed. My husband had a semen analysis and everything looked great except the morphology was on the low end. We've both stopped taking edibles two months ago (he'd limited it to once/week prior) and neither of us drink alcohol. We are both taking a laundry list of supplements that started a couple months prior to TTC. I track my BBT using a vaginal thermometer and through an Oura ring and all of my cycles indicate normal ovulation and very regular cycles. The only thing I feel is off is that my periods haven't returned to full "flow"... they never stopped on an IUD, but since being off, I need max two panty liners on my heaviest days, which is much lighter than before. There are an overwhelming number of options for next steps. Ideally, we'll conceive naturally, but given our ages, we want to be smart with our time. My OB has suggested doing a round with Clomid, but I wonder why if my blood tests confirm that I am ovulating.

  • Any other tests I should consider?
  • Should we keep trying during some calmer months since we had a rocky start?
  • Anyone previously on Kyleena have experience they'd like to share?
  • What would you suggest we try next?

Thank you for any tips - I've enjoyed checking in on this thread to help not feel so alone on this journey.
