I chose Zorin because they actually offered instructions themselves for how to install DaVinci. While the installation worked, and I can open DaVinci (after learning a couple work arounds)... The software is super buggy, and multiple features do not work correctly. Masking and Color grades in particular are virtually unusable. The Linux version does not recognize basic codecs and there appears to be no way to resolve this... which leads to even more steps needed to import audio, for example, after being converted to a .wav file because it won't recognize common codecs like audio from an mp4 file. The more I use it the more issues I find. DaVinci themselves say they support Rocky Linux but reading tells me many of these issues exist even on that particular distro. I desparately wanted to bail on windows completely but I have to have DaVinci for work... so am I stuck in the dual boot world or is there something I've missed here?
