The monitor won’t turn on. What am I doing wrong?

I plugged everything thing and the pc can turn on, but the monitor won’t for some reason. I’m also new to pcs in general so I might have done something wrong. It’s a dell optiplex 9020 pc and a windows 11 pro monitor

Edit: I found the issue. I didn’t plug the monitor to a power source 🤦. For some reason, I thought the pc would give power to the monitor
