Shelter absolutely botched IDing this guy
We rescued this guy in November from a kill shelter down in Texas. He’s two years old and about 17 pounds. We recently got his microchip updated and were surprised to find the shelter had registered him as a purebred (lol). He’s got a wild underbite that is surely not part of any breed standard. They also put “Japanese Terrier” down for breed which google tells me is extremely rare, so that’s obviously not right.
What breed do we think? He’s a pretty small guy and pretty low energy.
