In the 2026 Forester brochure I see that the Touring comes with a smart Rear-View Mirror. From what I understand this integrates the rear-view camera into the mirror. Does this also have auto dimming? I am in process of building one online and the option for the Auto-Dimming Exterior Mirror with Approach light states that you must have an Auto-Dimming (interior) mirror.

I want a Forester Limited in a ext/int color combination that the dealer didn’t have. He wants a deposit of $2500 to locate one or order if none within 200 miles. My previous car ordered was only a $500 Deposit. What amount of deposit have you put down, $2500 seems excessive.
