This sounds ridiculous, but I feel like I need to put it out there somewhere. I've apparently been test ready for a little over a month, but have a 4 month wait for a test. I've stopped making majors. Still making some minors - mainly around speed.

My main issue is that I keep landing in the bay, sometimes dead centre, but I have no idea how I'm doing it. My instructor goes on about markings, lining up parts of the door with lines etc. and it goes over my head. I have no idea how I keep getting between the lines and there's absolutely no way I could explain it to anyone if they asked me. I never adjust the mirrors and the car doesn't have any sort of parking assist.

I'm worried that even if I park well, the examiner will be making sure I'm looking in the "right" place, making specific turns of the wheel etc. when I'm consciously doing none of it. Subconsciously, I probably am because I haven't fucked it yet lol but "parking on vibes" is about the only way I can describe it. It's the only thing that's worrying me.

Will an examiner care how I get into the bay as long as I'm in it and done it safely?

EDIT: I'm feeling a lot better reading the replies. Thanks! It makes sense that they'll only care about safety and precision, not specific movements.
