I received my Lymow one mid way through last season. I’ve had some issues but all in all, it’s been a great experience. My yard looks great and my neighbors are jealous. Several have asked for information about my Lymow.
That being said, I have a nagging issue that started the beginning of this season. My mower goes to the charging station band begins to charge. It will charge for awhile, longer than it should take to get to roughly 50-60% state of charge, but then the state of charge starts decreasing. Eventually, the state of charge drops to zero. Fortunately, I have an extra battery and am able to direct charge without the charging station. The downside is that I always have to be home to change the battery. Additionally, I’ve noticed that when I power down to change the battery, the mower loses RTK connection and it takes much longer than it used to, to reconnect.
I’m fully aware that I need to keep charging contacts clean, which I do. I’m also aware that the charging station moisture sensor can be a problem, but mine is in my completely dry garage. Lastly, I’ve powered down the charger, the mower etc and left them for a full reset. If anyone has any other suggestions, I would love to hear them.
