Fans are what I would consider decent on Performance and silent mode. Sound quality is great, and the screen is nice and bright. It's a 1200p/165hz display. I primarily play plugged in, so I won't be testing the battery life. Not sure why people complained about the button layout in the reviews, because they're fairly normal as far as I'm concerned. I have a wireless mouse, so I haven't checked the touchpad out aside from setup, which was fine for the time I used it.
Cooling is very good too. Diablo 4 on High Settings in performance mode was around 63C GPU and 66C CPU, 120fps in Performance and 108-120 in Silent Mode. 1% lows were around 70-90fps.
As far as Open Box goes, there was zero noticeable cosmetic damage or internal damage that I could see. I love that it comes with a decent sized charger as well; No mega brick!
