I just ruined a good piece of fresh squid. It was labor intensive. From going out to buying the squid to prepping it. To cutting all the aromatics. To cleaning the squid. And for it to be mushy was devestating. What did i do wrong. I got the oil to 375. I tried to fry it under 90 seconds to keep it from.being chewy. I tried my best ot dry it with paper towels after drenching it in milk. Please help i wanted it to taste like the restuarant so bad. The flavor was there but the mushy texture just killed it for me.
