This work was centered on redemption, and how an an ex-war criminal that was imprisoned for a thousand years, now find himself facing his past.
And the client wanted her initial sketch for the cover, which involves around a handheld fan with roses hanging on to (Sketch) There was a lot of exploration before we landed on this one. Not too much but not too little.
They we're happy with it and I got to explore a lot of handheld fan while I was making this, they we're all pretty 🥺
