So this is a first time posting and very unique situation I’m in with no real guidance or how to even go about what’s occurring.
For clarity, I’m not big on auras or spiritual stuff in anyway.
I had friends come and visit a little over a year ago, and something felt off. Sorta like someone was standing next to me with a hovering sensation consistently. After a few days, they left to continue their trip and everything felt fine. Then one night I had a weird dream about people in my house saying they were just visiting. I woke up, attributed it to weird dreams from lack of sleep due to long work hours and moved on.
Weeks later, I felt this sensation of being crowded again, immediately followed by another dream of people saying “we’re just visiting”. A friend suggested buying a rem pod and turning it on whenever I feel the crowding, but nothing ever occurred, no reaction on the pod or anything. I tried a little experiment and left it on in my kitchen overnight, night after night. It never produced a sound or light. 3 nights ago, I had a random dream about leaving for work and there being people outside my front door (like the church people that hand out pamphlets) talking about enjoying the visitors. I woke up and the rem pod was going off downstairs. I approached it and it just stopped. I have a spirit box that had never produced a (reliable) sound ever, I turned it on, and now it’s consistently making words. It keeps saying kitchen and is reliably pointing out things accurately like stove is warm when opening it, the baby doll in the stroller in my kitchen, me standing in front of the sink or me being “thirsty” when I’m drinking.
The issue is, what do I do if a presence is here, to ensure it’s safe and I’m not inviting it in for something bigger. I’m not hearing physical noises or feeling “negative”. It’s like something is telling me to constantly turn the box and puck on and speak to it, like a weird guiding even while I question “why am I doing this”.
I’ve gotten direct names and responses to specific questions and it has mentioned both my sister (lives far away) and father(deceased) by name and clearly knows what it’s seeing in my home. It has said the room I’m standing in when asked and has told me it was in a specific room upstairs with couches, which is my office, which currently only has couches in it.
It stated a few nights ago that it needed to speak with my dad by name, but I needed a key. My dad is cremated and is housed in a clock which upon asking, I learned has a lock on it which was only known by my sister and mother.
