I was gifted this monstera deliciosa, housing condition was in rough shape, showered it with love (was in like 3 inches of dirt in a 5 gal container). New soil, earthworm casings, chicken poop, monstera approved soil, propped the heavy side shoot/growth. I for sure did not see this when I got it, is this a new leaf? Or fruit bloom?
Ive looked for a few months and all the information is conflicting. I love the red strawberry version, growing up we had a 8 foot tree in the backyard i would out compete the birds. How's the flavor profile on the yellow ones? I say conflicting cause ill read people saying its sweeter tropical/pineapple guava and others will say same as red but a distant hint of lemon? I have a 2 year old red, can you try and explain the flavor as to convince me to buy one or not.
