So i got my curlsys cut today.

Routine: Curly girl (or boy). Not sure what exact they used but at the moment my routine is, Shampoo (Serge d´Estel), Bonding Conditioner (Bali Curls), Weightless Protein Leave-In-Conditioner (Curl Bites) Cloud Fusion Hair Mousse (Le Secrets De Loly), Styling Souffleé (Curl Smith), Diffusing for 20 minutes, scrunch out the cast with some drops of hair oil (Olaplex No.7).

I lost a bit length and it even looks a lot shorter since the curls go up higher now but i am happy. My last cut was also a curlsys cut (was my first) and it was 6 1/2 months ago. So i think i am good to go for another 6 months at least (but i want to try 8-12) before the next cut. My wish length would be down to my belly but not sure if i could achieve it since the curls grow out after 6 months and the top is flat as hell. They are also harder to tame since grey (i call it more ash like) is coming in and makes it even more dry. However, i am quite happy with the outcome and i think it is ok for a 47 years old dude, lol.

Bun release went a bit wrong 🤪

I enjoed the spring sun in nature, no one there just me. Lame bun release but tomorrow is my hair cut so you never know. So far longest hair i ever had.

So i guess i turn slowly grey (or i am already)....or is it just a strong ash tone.

So people often think i have no grey hair and that they are even light brown but in daylight or cold LED lights you really see a strong ash like tone while my hair looks more golden to copper in warm light. I guess my time comes finally. Officially i am a dark blonde and i think with a cold ash tone. Sometimes i like the look and sometimes i hate it, lol. Maybe i could rock some kind of a more curly the Witcher look in my 50s. I also have the feeling on these more ash like parts i have a lot more frizz going on.

Would you dye it (i know darker colours are not for me so i would go more for brighter blonde tones). I just did it once in my past and it was really jet black and i looked so bad with it. In 2 days i am going to a hair stylist anyway. I mean grey hairs are OK at a certain age i think but they seems to be even more dry and stubborn to maintain.

It is funny that sometimes people ask me why i have no grey hairs and i say i have enough already. And some day later when i was walking trough the bright sun with open hair someone said to me i should cut my hair short since i look like a disco ball 🤣

Wet hair 👉 dry hair

Texture: Wavy/Curly, Density Medium/Dense, Treated: Curly girl routine here. So i guess very fine hair (yes i have really very fine hair) can be very thick too 😉….but some people do not believe it 🤨

I have a "Curlsys" cut going on next Wednesday....any tips....?

Routine: Shampoo (Serge D´Estel), Hair Mask (Serge D´Estel), Conditioner (Bali Curls), Leave-In-Conditioner (Curl Bites), Hair Mousse (LeSecretsDeLoly), Styling Soufflé (Curl Smith), Olaplex No.7 to scrunch the cast out

Next Wednesday i am going for a Curlsys hair cut with an experienced hair stylist. It is my second one and my last cut was 6 1/2 months ago. Normally i want to let my hair grow longer but i have the feeling it is a bit wild and out of control. Not sure if i should cut of just 1/2 inch as last time or maybe a bit more and/or m ore layers? Anyone has a similar hair pattern (2C-3A, very fine but medium to dens hair, porosity more on the higher side) experienced in this. Since i am a man i also want to avoid a too feminine rounded look but also want to avoid this triangle look i have when i am not using styling products in my routine.
