Hi everyone,
I recently bought a Hercules Inpulse T7 and I’m just starting to learn the ropes. I’m using it with a MacBook M4 and a Logitech Z407 speaker system.
I’m having a frustrating issue: When I connect the T7 to my speakers using an RCA to 3.5mm AUX cable, I only get sound from one speaker. The other speaker only emits a constant "hissing/static" sound.
Here is what I’ve tested so far:
Cables: I’ve tried 3 different RCA-to-3.5mm cables. The result is always the same.
Swapping RCAs: When I swap the Red and White plugs at the back of the T7, the sound moves to the other speaker. This confirms that one of the RCA output ports on the controller is either not sending a signal or is faulty.
Speakers: The Logitech Z407 works perfectly in stereo when connected directly to my MacBook.
Headphones: When I plug my headphones into the front of the T7, I get perfect stereo sound.
It seems like the issue is specifically with the Master RCA outputs on the controller. Before I consider returning it or claiming warranty, is there any software setting in Serato/DJUCED or any "hidden" hardware reset that could cause one RCA channel to fail while the headphones stay stereo?
Has anyone experienced this with the T7? Thanks in advance!
