So, i very recently downloaded linux mint, and have been using it for a about a week, it is certainly faster than windows 11, and i really like how it doesn't constantly bother me with notifications, but i don't think it's right for me, i also tried the gnome ubuntu desktop for around an hour but switched back shortly after.

So over to the question, what distro should i concider? I want to use both for:

Gaming - both newer steam games and older games (such as Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets and tarzan.) so maybe something that already has a bunch of codecs.
writing.
generally working and editing, something that could support Davinci resolve without needing much workarounds for it to work.
surfing the internet - this is really distro specific, just something that works well for this.
Easy to use - It doesn't need to be as similar to windows as mint, just something that doesn't have much of a learning curve, and doesn't require the terminal for too much.
Customizable - Something that i can easily change the UI and icons for.
Fast - just as long as it's faster than windows 11, i'm pretty content.

Thinking about getting a skirt and thigh-highs next, does anyone have any recommendations for where to buy from?
