The Best Buy Metals radio ad is trash.
Some might see it as common, everyday workplace banter, but what I'm hearing is an employee light-heartedly letting their boss know that they would like to be paid more and the boss insulting them
by saying they have low productivity and don't deserve it. Given the economic climate, I would say at best, it's in poor taste. I know a lot of people are going to think, perhaps the employees should just suck it up do better and earn their raise, but I also think joking about it just enhances that toxic workplace culture.
