No Response to key fob input
I have a 25 XLT, I’ll start by saying this truck has been great over 6 months, no issues or bugs until today.
I locked the truck to go into a store (with the key fob) came out tried to unlock the truck but it wasn’t reacting to any input. Tried unlock button, lock button, Frunk opening… nothing was working like the truck was dead.
I then tried to manually unlock with the key inside the fob but that wasn’t working either. I opened the app and was able to connect to the truck and unlock the doors. Once that happened the key fob started working again, I continued to use the rest of the day with no issues. I’m glad I didn’t leave my phone in the truck while I was in the store, otherwise I don’t know how I would’ve got back into the truck.
I haven’t seen any posts about this, so figured I’d share. It was in the shop 3 weeks ago to get the parking break update, maybe there’s a bug that came with that. Hoping it’s a one time issue, but let me know if anyone else has experienced anything similar.
