Some concept art for Ophyo and its prequel TWTWD (i dont trust my current skillset to develop the first one, so im making its way shorter prequel to prove to myself i can get stuff done)
I tried to post in a subredit and got hit with "you dont have 20 comment karma" now thats fair but i also have no idea how to check how much of my karma is "comment karma'
Keep in mind he is to be animated.
SOME INFO in order of importance:
* The eyes would stay closed most of the time and when opened theyd look like the drawing on the right. Yes the flowers in the side of his head are also eyes yes they do blink. Second picture displays tbe eyes better
* The black shirt +white tie combo is supposed to resemble a priest, the flower thing is sortof inspired by midsommar (the movie). "being a cult leader" was a big part of my marketing when i actually used to do social media and when trying to get back into it it seems fitting to keep some of that branding.
* I wanted him to vaguely dress like an old man, and vaguely resemble the eraly 2000 "evil mormon" vibe some emo bands had going on, like he doesnt QUITE understand the passage of time. Thus the vaguely 80s pants too. Hes supposed to not look like any specific time period yet still somehow outdated fashion wise
* The lines on his arms are stylized hair dw.
* Color-wise ill stick to white-brownish red, with pink/purple shadows in the white parts / black in the red parts (im a big fan of intense/ dramatic lighting so the shadow colors would be prominent) and details in black (like the eyes/mouth/arm hair/etc)
*His nose is supposed to look a bit hooked (tho upturned, thats how mine is irl) on its side profile, i want to edit my profile picture to display that better. Adding a red buffer on the lines for stylization sake kinda made it look flatter than the sketch intended.
I tried to post something on r/indiedev and when i pressed post it did the 'uploading image' thing, but then it refreshed the subreddits main page and i checked both there and in my profile and it doesnt seemed to have posted.
I didnt get any pop ups or notifications from automod nor anything else, is this normal? Do i just not meet the karma requirement/got blocked for some actual reason or is it a bug/wifi/something along those lines?

I decided to start posting my stuff here after half a decade of lurking (with a different account i lost the password to) but every art related subredit i can find seems to be either specifically for commission purposes or traditional...abstract? Realism? Art? Not sure what to call those styles but the typical plants eyes etc if that makes any sense.
Maybe im just bad at searching but if yall could recommend any subredits for digital art or for things sort of like i do id really appreciate it
(even if they have a higher karma requirement than i currently have id like to know about them so pls tell me anyway)
