Does mgm typically send over opportunities to upgrade in the app before your trip?

I’ve booked using the app several times but honestly have never paid attention, and saw an influencer on YouTube show her upgrade offer in the app while staying at the Luxor.

Interested to hear if this happens to normal people lol
