Quick question:

I filed and managed to use last years w2 by mistake. IRS flagged it with income verification then i realized what mistake I made. The return is stuck on 971 (CP0005). Should i wait until this processes before filing an amended return?

TurboTax tells me that I owe the IRS because it is assuming that the original refund payment was made (which hasnt been done because of the 570/971 transcript status).
