Hi! I’m a 19 year old trans male who is currently on testosterone and has been for about a year and a few months. last year in april i stopped getting periods and haven’t had one until now. I am also on depo-provera to stop my periods. it started 11 days ago and has been fairly light. i’ve had a bit of cramping, which feels like what a period cramp would feel like for me. for the last 5 months ive had one exclusive sexual partner that i definitely did not get chlamydia from. before then is a different story. i had a couple hookups, two unprotected in some way. im not sure how to tell if this is just a weird hormone fluctuation period or chlamydia, as i don’t have any other symptoms. my follow up question, is that if i have been taking doxycycline 40mg for 3 months, would that help clear up a chlamydia infection? thank you for any help!
edit: just remembered i had a uti after all possible exposures to chlamydia. would the test for the uti also show if i was infected with that? would the 7 days of 400mg cefixime get rid of a chlamydia infection?
