So we’ve been broken up for about 3 weeks and are still missing each other a lot. I’m 46 F he’s 51 M.

We had been together for 18 months. Throughout the breakup we have been in contact here and there, it actually made the letting go a little easier.

Thing is, he wants to see me this weekend and I’ve agreed (staying over and all). But I know this relationship isn’t the one for me. How do I do this? I know I’ve got to end it but I just don’t have the heart. I mean he is a really sweet guy and I wish it could’ve worked for us, he is amazing but I just don’t feel at home with him. Help me out here. I would be just prolonging the agony. I just don’t have the guts to completely break his heart even though I am unhappy.
