Hi everyone,

I’m exploring an idea that may be useful for genealogy research, especially when family records, graves, or old family locations are far away.

Many families move to other cities or countries, but their family history often remains tied to one specific place: a cemetery, a village, a church, a local archive, an old house, or people in the area who may still remember something.

Sometimes a person researching their family may need simple local help, for example:

  • finding or photographing a family grave
  • checking the condition of a grave
  • visiting a cemetery and confirming inscriptions
  • going to a local archive or registry office if allowed
  • checking church or cemetery records
  • photographing an old family house, street, or village
  • asking local people or neighbors whether they remember the family name
  • helping confirm whether a place still exists
  • gently cleaning around a grave if cemetery rules allow it

The idea is to connect people who need this kind of help with local people near the relevant place.

A person could provide known details, such as a cemetery name, village, surname, address, or archive reference, and someone local could respectfully check the place, take photos, ask basic questions, or send back a short update.

This is not meant to replace genealogy databases, professional researchers, archives, or Find A Grave. It is more like a local human-help layer for people who cannot physically visit the place themselves.

Everything would need to be respectful, legal, and in line with local rules. No private information about living people should be shared publicly, no pressure on anyone, no trespassing, no damage, and no inappropriate behavior — only careful help for family history research and remembrance.

I’m not posting this as an advertisement. I’m mainly looking for feedback from people who understand genealogy research:

Would this kind of local archive / cemetery / village visit help be useful for genealogists or families researching ancestors from far away?

What risks, ethical issues, or practical problems should be considered before building something like this?

Hi everyone,

I’m exploring an idea that may be useful for genealogy research, especially when family graves are located far away.

Many families move to other cities or other countries, but the graves of their relatives remain in one specific place. Sometimes, for family history research, a person may need simple local help:

  • finding a grave in a cemetery
  • checking whether the grave is still there
  • taking respectful photos
  • confirming the location
  • checking the condition of the grave
  • gently cleaning around it if cemetery rules allow it
  • placing flowers if appropriate

The idea is to connect people who need this kind of help with local people near the cemetery.

A person could provide the cemetery name, grave location, or known family details, and someone local could respectfully visit the place and send back photos or a short update.

This is not meant to replace genealogy databases, cemetery records, or Find A Grave. It is more like a local human-help layer for people who cannot physically visit the place themselves.

Everything would need to be respectful, legal, and in line with cemetery rules. No private information about living people, no damage, and no inappropriate behavior — only careful help for family history research and remembrance.

I’m not posting this as an advertisement. I’m mainly looking for feedback from people who understand genealogy research:

Would this kind of local grave visit, photo, and condition-check help be useful for genealogists or families who live far away from ancestral graves?

What risks, ethical issues, or practical problems should be considered before building something like this?

Hi everyone,

I created a small project based on a simple idea that may be close to this community.

Many people live far away from the places where their relatives are buried. Families move to other cities or other countries, while the graves of their loved ones remain in one specific place.

Sometimes a person only needs simple help from someone local:

finding the grave,
checking its condition,
taking respectful photos,
confirming the location,
placing flowers if appropriate,
or gently cleaning around the grave if cemetery rules allow it.

The idea is to connect people locally.

A person who lives far away could find someone near the cemetery, explain what they are looking for, give the grave location or available details, and ask for respectful help.

The local participant could accept or decline the request. They would only perform careful and respectful actions, then send photos or an update back to the family.

This is not meant to replace Find A Grave or existing cemetery preservation work. It is more like a human connection layer for people who need local help when they cannot physically visit themselves.

Everything must be legal, respectful, and in line with cemetery rules. No damage, no pressure, no inappropriate actions — only careful help for families and researchers.

I would really appreciate your opinion:

Do you think this kind of local grave visit / photo / condition-check help could be useful for people who live far away from family graves?

If this idea feels meaningful to you, I would be grateful if you joined the early test group or shared it with someone who may need this kind of help.

I can share the registration link in the comments if it is allowed by the moderators.

**Buy My Behavior** An idea to help people care for family graves when they live far away

Hi everyone,

I created a small project based on a simple and respectful idea.

Many of us live far away from the places where our relatives are buried. Life moves people to other cities and other countries, but the graves of our loved ones remain where they are. Sometimes it becomes very difficult to visit, clean the area, place flowers, or simply check that everything is okay.

The idea is to connect people locally.

A person who lives far away could find someone near the cemetery, explain where the grave is, what kind of respectful help is needed, and offer a small thank-you donation for the time and effort.

The local participant could accept or decline the request. They would only do simple, careful actions: visit the grave, gently clean around it, place flowers if requested, take respectful photos, and send an update back.

Everything must be legal, respectful, and in line with cemetery rules. No damage, no pressure, no inappropriate actions — only careful help for families who cannot be there themselves.

I would really appreciate your opinion:

Do you think this kind of remote grave care could be useful for people who live far away from their family graves?

And would people in this community consider participating in something like this, either by requesting help or offering help locally?

If this idea feels meaningful to you, I would be grateful if you joined the early test group.

You can register, appear on the map as a local participant, and help people who are far away from the graves of their loved ones.

Even if you do not want to participate directly, please share this idea with someone who might understand its importance — people who moved abroad, families living far from their hometowns, or anyone who cares about cemetery preservation and respectful grave care.

Thank you for any feedback, support, or sharing.

Buy My Behavior PWA for real social actions between people

Hello everyone,

I'm building a PWA where people can create real social actions for other participants.

For example:

A person is far away and wants someone to visit their loved one in the hospital and say specific words of support.

Someone wants a person in another city to stand with a poster with their own message.

Someone wants to create a small public script at a specific place and time, such as holding a poster, supporting someone at an event, or performing a harmless creative action.

The participant can first read the script, accept it only if they want, perform the action, and upload a short video proof.

If there are disagreements, the community can review the original script and proof, and then vote on whether the action was performed correctly.

The app is still in early testing. I'm mainly looking for feedback on whether this PWA concept makes sense and whether a mobile flow makes sense for real-world coordination.

Would you use something like this to request an action or perform one?

Hi everyone.

I’m building a Ukrainian social experiment app called Buy My Behavior, and I’m looking for early beta testers 18+.

The idea is simple: people can request safe real-world actions from other people, but only with consent. The other person can accept, refuse, or suggest changes.

Examples:

— ask someone nearby to visit a person in a hospital and say personal words of support from their family;

— ask someone local to clean a relative’s grave if the family lives far away;

— find someone for a coffee, walk, or real conversation if a person feels lonely in a new city;

— ask someone to perform a safe public action or small city performance for content.

This is not a token sale, not an investment offer, and not a “get rich” project. I’m looking for honest feedback on the idea, UX, onboarding, safety logic, and whether the concept is understandable.

The product is in a closed early testing stage.

If you like testing unusual new products, please comment or DM me and I’ll share access.

What I need feedback on:
— is the idea clear?
— does the onboarding make sense?
— what feels risky or confusing?
— would people actually use this?

Hello everyone,

I'm building a project called **Buy My Behavior** and would really appreciate help from curious people who like to test early ideas.

The idea is simple:

You can pick a real person on a map and ask them to perform a certain action or scenario from the real world — only if they agree.

For example, someone could ask the performer to:

* visit a friend in the hospital and deliver a message of support;

* help clean or tend to a grave when family is away;

* meet someone for a friendly walk or conversation;

* perform a fun, safe public challenge;

* perform another agreed-upon scenario that is legal, respectful, and harmless.

The project is not intended to force anyone to do anything. It is based on consent, location, agreed-upon scenarios, and optional donations between users.

We now have a ready-made test environment, and I’m looking for people who can test the product and honestly tell me:

Is the idea clear?

Is the flow clear?

Does the interface explain what’s happening?

What seems confusing, risky, or interesting?

Would you use something like this yourself?

As a thank you, everyone who participates in the test can receive a personal referral key. This key can later be shared with your audience or community, and it can give you 5% of the turnover generated by people who join through it.

I know that early testers help the founders more than they often realize. Your feedback at this stage can directly impact the product.

Referral Code: BMB

Thank you to everyone who reviews, tests this, or just shares their honest thoughts.
