3DS Sonic Basketball Game or just a regular 3DS basketball game...?
Platform(s): 2DS or 3DS (I remember it being a large DS with four little squares on top, either on the left or right)
Genre: Sports
Estimated year of release: 2008 to 2012 heck, it could be 2006 to 2014
Graphics/art style: Definitely 3D graphics. With 2D elements, like drawing on the screen.
Notable characters: Blaze from Sonic the Hedgehog, possibly a mii but, memory is hazy
Notable gameplay mechanics: Jumping, dribbling the basketball, in order to shoot, you had to trace a shape, I know a circle, an X, a star, maybe even a trapezoid. An around would always show you the right direction to start drawing the shape.

I would say the years around 2000s to 2010s, what I vaguely remember is a Sonic Game. I was playing as Blaze.
I have the Mario and Sonic Winter Olympic Games from 2010/2014 and I want to say it's similar to the ice skating/figure skating game but not exact. It had to be different is what I tell myself.
I specifically remember a basketball court and having to dribble the ball across the court, and in order to score into the hoop it would either present you with an X or a circle or it would be a star. The only reason why I remember this is because drawing the star would be so hard to do and I never knew how to do that, so I would always miss the hoop and fail.
Again, it's a game similar to the Winter Olympic game, but it was specifically a basketball court, and maybe playing as Blaze and having to draw a star. Heck, it could be a different 3DS game. I wish I could remember more. Other than that I think it was able to run on the 2DS and the 3DS. The cartridge was black from what I remember. (This better not be a false memory, I swear TmT)
