I'm searching for a car seat to take abroad from UK to Portugal with my almost 4 year old 105cm child.

It must fold, and be suitable to carry around town on day trips after use in taxis/ubers.

I was looking at the Cybex G2 but it is so wide! The Maxi Cosi Nomad XL Plus looks like a good alternative I think? They also do the Topaz, but I'm not sure it's as safe?

Any suggestions that fit the bill of 'as safe as possible while being easy to lug around all day on excursions' welcome please!
