Struggling with jobs in a conservative place

Hello, I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit to discuss this, I don’t use this platform

That being, I’m sure theres been other people to discuss this, but I can’t seem to find anything

My husband and I live in a very conservative country in general, where people are transphobic. I, myself, am cis, my husband is trans. He hasn’t changed his name and hasn’t gotten any professional gender affirming care, because it is basically unavailable. Until now we were able to support ourselves, I have an okay-ish job, but my husband was the one to support us more financially.

He lost his job 3 months ago, the place he worked at closed. He didn’t have much problems with work because his employer was this old lady that was fairly nice (and most importantly - she was not transphobic) and just wanted the job done.

Ever since he lost his job, we’ve been struggling alot, we were saving up to move to another country and start working there but we basically live off of those savings now. No one wants to hire him when he mentions being transgender.

My question being:

Is there any side hustle or job anyone could recommend for someone who hasn’t transitioned legally? He can’t work remotely because he’s not the best with computers 😅

I truly hope anyone in this or similar situation never gets to the point of not living comfortably or safe. I wish you all the best!
