Hey, I am on the lookout for a used Honda Civic car, and met a seller through OLX yesterday.

He claimed first hand ownership with no odo tampering. But on getting an online report from cars24, I got to know he is the 3rd owner and odo meter reading is same as in 2019 😅

Meanwhile, I really liked the car from the initial drive pov. It's a Civic 2007 S AT variant, and drives pretty well.

Now I want to ask: is it advisable to at least get it checked by a mechanic and then negotiate based on my new findings? The only reason I am considering the car is because I need an automatic, and kind of a sucker for the old civic (so please give me a reality check if required!).

Thanks.
