Customer sent rude text
I was doing a double shop today on mother's Day and the one persons order had a lot of Walmart desserts on it, like pies, crumb cake etc. The store is out of half of the sweets that he ordered. I mean literally they're out. I even had a Walmart guy look for a cake. I do that, especially on holidays. If they order a cake., to make sure they get it. They didn't have it. I'm 75% through the shop. And the guy texts me. I didn't screenshot it but I remember almost exactly what he said and it was something like this."I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ALL THE ITEMS BEING OUT OF STOCK!! THESE ARE ALL COMMON HOUSEHOLD ITEMS! I HOPE YOUR NOT ONE OF THOSE LAZY SHOPPERS, THAT JUST RUSH THROUGH THE ORDER. I read this and right away I was pissed off. Didn't respond and just canceled the order. Now I know I didn't do this right because I could have called customer service and had them just cancel his order or I could have texted him and told them nicely that I'm not a lazy shopper and I double-checked to make sure that these items were indeed out of stock and this guy's not even thinking that first off it's Sunday which is already the busiest day of the week for shopping. And second, it's mother's day where everybody and their mother is ordering desserts for their dinner. So I just canceled the trip. Put all the stuff away and moved on. I got a ding for it but just wondering if other shoppers wouldn't have done the same or not????
