I’m in VA. So I got home tonight from work and when in the bathroom cleaning up I looked over and saw a bunch of dead bugs in the bottom of the tub and on the side of the shower.

I’m thinking I may eventually take a shot at breeding these Orange Venezuelans of which I have six, but I’m not good at sexing them. I heard they are easier to tell from above so I got pics of at least five of them from above. I basically just want to know if I got any females.

So I have a 20 gallon long community tank right now, I’d say it’s decently planted, but I plan to add more plants like floating plants. Right now it houses 8 Celestial Pearl Danios and 6 orange Venezuelan Cory’s. I was thinking of eventually adding a female betta to this at some points. However I recently thought about adding 3 or 6 clown killifish first. Clown killifish are somewhat colorful (males more so) and they are generally too dwelling fish. I plan to get 1:2 M:F ratio whether I get 3 or 6. Would this be a bad addition to get if I eventually planned on getting a Betta?
