Should I do Multi-Engine Instrument add on?

I recently found out that it's possible as a PPL holder to get my instrument rating in a multi-engine aircraft and knock out a multi add-on in the process.

I understand that ordinarily there would be no point in doing this because of the difficulty added to an already hard checkride but, considering my situation, I can build the other 100 hours I need for commercial cerr in an extremely affordable multi that a friend owns (barely more than a 172 for pro-rata doing pilots n paws)

My biggest question: is it so difficult that's it's not even worth the risk? Because I can study my butt off and make sure at least the oral portion is perfect, but a person can only handle so many things during the practical portion of a checkride.

I hope I gave enough info for reasonable advice 😁

Good morning! Current PPL holder here.

I'm looking for a flight school that's well structured, has plenty of fleet/plane availability and dedicated instructors so that I can continue my training and possibly get financing (I know it's a bad idea, but my situation sorta demands it right now since I have a job lined up when I'm done)

Treasure Coast Flight Training seemed to fit the bill, but over the last few months they've had a good handful of nasty reviews on Google and I wanted to follow up with anyone that has previous experience interacting with that specific school or any other decent Flight schools that offer financing and are well put together!

Thanks in advance!

Hello, fellow cRedditors. I'm hoping to get some advice on how best to consolidate my debt and increase my credit score.

Some stuff about me

Had a bad string of luck with jobs/moves the last few months, but now back on track and able to make $2k-$3k in payments each month.

FICO score is right around 700, 100% on-time credit payments, 90% credit utilization with a total of $34k in credit card debt. Fixed bills are $3000, annual income around $90k.

How would you guys go about consolidating the debt in order to pay it off as aggressively as possible? The interest is killing me

I'm looking for ideas on a plane under $100k to start my IFR training. I'm not picky about anything other than it needing to be IFR certified, and that it burns under 8gph because I'd like to use the plane for a few hundred hours of time building as well.

Aside from the obvious (PA-140, C152) what are some options people would recommend? Definitely willing to go experimental/SLSA as long as I can take a checkride in the plane. I'm considering the RV-12iS but I think that's closer to $120k if I'm not mistaken.

TIA!
