Hi all,

I am currently assembling a Simlab P1X Ultimate. I am curious if the side mount pieces for one side to attach a shifter or a handbrake are necessary for rigidity? I have no intensions to add a shifter or handbrake or anything else on the side of the rig and considering if I should just not install them because it will make getting in an out of my rig slightly harder. Just to clarify, I do not mean the front mount or the side mount for the wheelbase. I am refering to the two 90 degree connected extrusion pieces on either left or right connecting to the one side of the verticals.

I am planning to get a shaft extension for my Simucube 3 Pro on a Simlab P1X Ultimate to have my screens between the wheelbase and the wheel. I am planning to go with the Simube brand since the original Simucube extensions are unrealisticly expensive. In between 100mm, 150mm and 200mm which one would you recommend considering stability. Or does anybody recommenda a different brand?
