First time home buyer

Hi everyone, I came here because I don't really know what to do. I'm single and on my own and saved up enough to buy a condo because it feels like a smarter financial decision than continuing to rent, but I'm feeling really overwhelmed on what to do with it. My apartments have all just been really temporary and cluttery and, fully on me, not well maintained. I see a lot of "inspiration" content for interior design and I don't really feel strongly about any of it (Pinterest is way too overwhelming I don't like it). I've never really felt strongly about interior design or dreamed of owning property or decorating or anything like that, so this has gone from something that could be exciting to something stressful that I feel like I'm just ultimately going to fail at.

My closing date is coming up soon and I am working on getting rid of things so I'll have less to move and less to clutter the space with, but I don't really know where to go from a space with a bunch of stuff that needs changing all to myself to something that feels homey and manageable while also looking modern or mature or whatever.

Everyone I know just keeps telling me to do what I like or I'll figure it out, but again, it's coming up and I have zero ideas or moving plans or projects set up or things picked out or even inspiration. Like I know where my couch and TV will go and that's it.

It's a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom and I know I don't like the current colors, the backsplash in the kitchen has to go, the bathroom vanity/sink/mirror situation needs to be changed out, and other than that it's just empty with hardwood floors. Like idk anything about style or what to go for or anything, I basically just have the things I use (work desk station, tv, coffee table, couch, bed, pullout couch for the spare room) and then I was planning on passing off the other stuff I have since it's mostly stuff I got for free on "buy nothing" groups that doesn't have any sort of cohesion or anything or that I just don't use anymore.

Has anyone else felt like this? Did something specifically inspire you to get into it? Any and all advice would be appreciated because I do like this place and I want to love it.
