my husband and I live overseas since the past 3 years. We have a toddler. My MIL started calling husband everyday since our toddler was born which I’m ok with. I talk to my parents everyday as well. They talk for 10-15 mins max with most of time speaking to the baby. But in that time she wants to know everything. What we are cooking, what baby ate, what she’ll eat, whether she went to daycare, what she took for food, where we are going, is the toy new, who gave, etc. I have spoken to my husband about this and told we need to set boundaries, I don’t like this level of detail to be shared. She doesn’t interfere at all neither does she expect me to speak to her everyday, she gives us space in that way. But surely wants to know everything. AITA here ? Is this normal or am I overreacting ?
