I’m trying to make sense of some conflicting info from my schools student financial office. I got an email today saying I am on OSAP academic restriction, which lasts at least 12 months, but later in the email it says I’m unable to receive funding until the Fall 2026 term, which is 4 months away.

It is also says I may be eligible for winter 2027, but again thats 8 months away. I was planning to pay off some of my student loan this year, so I have enough to fund my next academic year, but I’d still like to do OSAP if possible. I’m just really confused about the OSAP restriction, other than the fact I can’t apply for it right now.
