Still yet to hear back from Stanford, Columbia, and Northwestern, but not holding my breath for any of them, especially since I'm KJD. SMU really won't be changing anything at this point. For some background, I decided I wanted to go to law school in August, and took the October LSAT but got a 16high. While that is still a fine score, I knew I left a lot on the table, so I gambled on the January LSAT before submitting any applications, which ended up being the correct choice. I have student loans that come out of deferment when I graduate, so R&R was something I wanted to avoid, even though some WE would definitely help compensate for my GPA. Imo my GPA got off a little easier since I have a STEM background, but it still definitely hurt me. I think my outcomes include some YP and KJD-tax, but I can't ignore that I was a very late applicant.

Overall, I have no room to complain. I got near a half-ride at an amazing T14, and am incredibly grateful. THANK YOU DEAN Z!!!
