A bit of backstory is that I've had a tendonosis ankle injury that developed about a month and a half ago and I've had trouble recovering as I have poor circulation to my feet
I bought a bottle of gotu kola from ND a while back and hadn't used it too much until yesterday I decided to try it out again out of boredom.
An hour later my feet were much warmer than previous and I felt less pain walking around. I fell asleep a couple hours later and when I woke up and walked around doing my morning routine I noticed my feet stayed warm despite standing on the cold hardwood and I felt like I didnt need to use my brace.
I decided to do some research into gotu kola and found out that It increases micro circulation, promotes type 1 and 3 collagen synthesis, helps regulate blood sugar and keeps inflammation down. Plus it has a calming effect that keeps ruminating thoughts at bay for me.
Definitely keeping it around for recovery purposes!
