How to not feed when behind as an engage support?
Just played 2 games of Rell and in both games did absolutely horrible (Don't worry my team let me know just how much of a help I was...). Of course I'm still new to learning rell so most of what went wrong was prolly on me not knowing my champ well enough, but it still felt like I couldn't do my job without just gifting another 300 gold to the other team.
Every time I would engage it would be cc then instantly killed.
Game 1) Against the jinx I felt I couldn't engage nor peel for my mf. If I stay to peel for her jinx rockets through my health as she outranges mf. Then if I try to engage on her I just get hit with a morg q and shaco or quinn appears and kills mf then I die shortly after. Most fights would go that way were both tk and noc would engage noc R and I wouldn't know what to do. If I stay back for mf noc would eat a morg q and tk gets kited and both get killed while me, malz and mf would be dealing with the shaco and quin who would just get out then we would die to the jinx and morg. If I decided to engage with noc and tk then our backline of malz and mf would get rammed through by shaco and quin. Then with me, tk, and noc in the frontline we would just take an azir R to the face and subsequently pummeled by jinx.
Game 2) Similiar story where I felt I could engage at all. Everytime I tried it would usually end up with caitlyn using net and me receiving a crispy morg root to the face then caitlyn places a trap under me and what do you know im looking at a grey screen. Then later it was the same story of late game teamfights I could engage at all. Caitlyn just autoing me down if I trying to move up to W. Then even if I wait to engage untill the fight break out caitlyn would either flash and instakill me or use her net and instakill me. Then If I went for the syndra I would just get shoved away and instakilled.
