I have a hen who was sitting on 5 eggs at the beginning. Early on 3 failed to develop, then about 2 weeks in she kicked one out that had died, and then the last one was fully formed but did not hatch for unknown reasons. She has been sitting on the nest for 24 days. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Should I get her chicks from the store to raise? How easy is it to sneak them under her? Or should I just try to kick her out of the nesting box? I’ve never had all eggs fail so I am not sure what I can do for her 🙁
