I am doing my first "advanced" soldering mod attempting to transplant the CPU and RAM chips to a funnyplaying motherboard and I think I am really close.
I am getting everything to power on and start games, however, as you can see, I am getting a lot of artifacts and glitching in certain parts of the games. This image for example is the first instance you notice it in Super Mario World which is on the world map screen.
If it matters, I am also using funnyplaying's M2 screen kit and the RAM and CPU are from different GBA Motherboards. I have access to the other ones, however, do not want to attempt to swap out again if I don't have to.
Any and all feedback/pointers is much appreciated!

UPDATE: We are back in business! I had 2 pins in the upper right corner of the CPU bridged. Definitely a result of the struggles of doing it multiple times throughout the night with minimal lighting to check accurately.
Games seem to be running fine, but I will check back in over the next couple of weeks if anything changes.
Thanks for the second set of eyes Reddit!
