We’ve been playing spearhead for a bit (and grabbed a few other spearheads for it) but would also like to try the full game. We’re not really familiar with how to build an actual army, so it’d be nice to know how to set up the models for a proper full game.

My boyfriend also got the Eshin half of City of Ash, and the unique units for the warpspark clawpack (so the storm friends and the warp lightning cannon) if those would be relevant.

Me and my boyfriend split the City of Ash box and I went with the sentinels because I really liked the minis and my boyfriend already has a fair bit of skaven (he has the other two of their spearheads, and wants to make a full army at some point).

We’ve played two games and he’s just utterly destroyed me. He just zeroes in on my general and kills him in the first turn. The skaven are squishy but the sheer volume of attacks combined with crit mortals makes it hard to kill them before they kill me. I’m at a loss as to what to do.
