Pick me a phone which will last!

Hello! Just a warning my post may be long cause I have no idea what info is revelant.

I'm looking forward to upgrading from Samsung S21. It's also first time I'm picking a phone completely alone 😅.

My Samsung has served me great for over five years. I have two main issues with it: it literally overheats while doing basic tasks, and the battery has to be charged like 3 times per day. I admit I haven't been great at preserving the battery health, tho. Main drive for change is that somehow I broke a glass on one of camera lenses and it's not worth repairing since I wanted to upgrade anyway.

I need a phone on which I can rely on for the whole day, I travel often and I don't want to be distracted by planning around charge breaks/constantly having a power bank on me.

Also a phone which will stay with me for at least five, preferably more, years.

So good battery, longtime support, a decent camera will be nice but not something I worry about (a working one will be fine).

I use my phone mainly for reading (both eBooks and websites), listening to music/YT, navigation/browsing the internet, texting, and some social media.

I was considering the Pixel 10 Pro and cheaper versions of the S25. My budget is up to 1000€ tops. Do I have other good long-term options?

Btw. Before my glorious Samsung I had some Chinese phones and all of them couldn't last more than a year, so I am sceptical, but not entirely against.
