Options for blurring or darkening crew member reflection

Options for blurring or darkening crew member reflection

Ugh. 16 hour shoot for my short film and this final key shot happened with no one noticing our boom mic guy in the window reflection.

This screen shot is zoomed in 250% so the window is much smaller in the shot. If I can blur him slightly and darken it, it may work out.

One issue is a character passes through and there is camera motion.

The entire shot lasts about 6 seconds.

What are the options for tackling this in post. I'm a novice editor and I am open to hiring an expert to save me here. But looking for some education on what direction to go and what options there are. And exactly how screwed am I.

Update: thanks all for putting my mind at ease!

How bad is this? I am trying to figure out who did this. It's an empty apartment and the installers finished up and left on their own. It's either the installer or the superintendent.

But it looks like it was done with cleats. I doubt the super would wear cleats in my apartment or anywhere really.

Regardless of the culprit, how bad is this?

I'm working on a 10 minute short film and I'm in post.

I'd like to add an establishing shot of the apartment building where the story takes place. Ideally it would be just after sunset or even a little darker, and when it's raining out.

We used a legit camera and Arri lenses for the interiors, But it was rented equipment.

I was thinking of going to the apartment building next time it rains in the evening setting up a tripod and seeing what I can do with my Android Pixel 10 and the black magic app.

Do you think I'll be able to get good enough footage for a 5-second opening clip?
