Dating App Scam?
Hello everyone, I wanted to share one of the strangest interactions I’ve had on the Salams app, and I’m wondering if it sounds like a potential scam/sextortion attempt.
I matched with a girl on Salams and we talked normally for a few days. She asked to move the conversation to WhatsApp, which we did. She had mentioned video calling before, and on the third day we finally did one.
One thing I noticed beforehand was that she deleted/unmatched me on the dating app but kept talking to me on WhatsApp.
During the video call, she told me to stay muted because her family was outside her room. It was definitely the same girl from the app, lying in her bed. After a few minutes she suddenly started complimenting me, saying she was horny, and stripped completely naked on camera. She then pressured me to do the same.
I told her I wasn’t comfortable with that, and she got angry, started insulting me, and called me gay. I ended up blocking her immediately.
Does this sound like a scam or possible sextortion setup to you guys?
