I'm so excited! I've lurked here a bit because I love birds but am a novice when it comes to bird watching and I have yet to get a good picture of any of the birds & critters that visit my yard. I was out filling my feeders today and saw this gorgeous little blue bird and immediately had to find out what it was. It was I searched all the blue birds in SW PA & it turns out it was an Indigo Bunting! This may be commonplace to many of you but I'm so excited to have spied my first Bunting that I had to tell someone who would understand. If I can manage a halfway decent pic of him I'll add it.
