Advice on Lindy sizing?
Long time lurker, first-time poster 😄 I'm treating myself to a gift after completing my MBA with honors AND buying a house in the same year – I've salivated over the Lindy for ages and would love to buy myself one.
The trouble: sizing. My nearest boutique is a 4-hour drive, and it's pretty small, so I don't know for sure if I'd be able to try one on for myself. I'm torn between the 26, 30 and 34 and hoping for some advice (or if you have reference photos you're comfortable sharing)!
- I'm 5 ft 4 inches, and more of my visual height is in my torso
- I have an hourglass / athletic build (broad shoulders, narrower waist, wider thighs and hips, stocky calves – I dance ballet a Lot)
- I prefer a slouchy bag and will likely wear it on my shoulder more than by the handles (but want the option to wear it both ways, of course!)
- I don't over-stuff my bags, but want my daily driver to have enough room for a long wallet, a couple makeup bags of stuff, a spare tote bag, and some extra room to spare to toss things in as needed.
- I do love a slightly oversized bag - goes with my casual-chic meets androgynous aesthetic - but there's a difference between "oversized" and "so big you have to manage the bag when you're moving around through your day" and I'd like to stay on the right side of that
Any thoughts/advice would be lovely and so appreciated. Thank you all in advance, and also thank you for fueling my hours and hours of scrolling – you all have such lovely and unique styles and I find myself constantly inspired!
