What hair type is this? Would curly hair products work?

Hi,

I’ve always thought my hair was just slightly messy/straight, but recently I noticed it naturally forms waves and curls, especially at the front.

Some people told me it might be type 2A or even a bit 2B
Do you guys think I actually have wavy/curly hair? And would curly hair products/routines work for my hair type?

Right now I don’t really use any special products, just normal shampoo and air drying without products. I’m wondering if mousse, curl cream, diffuser drying, etc. could bring out more texture/curls.

What hair type would you say this is?
And what products or routine would you recommend starting with?

Thank you!

What’s my hair type? And how much growth for the waves to be less springy?

Hi, I was wondering what my hair type is? Some say it’s curly some say it’s not wavy and 2a. What’s my hair type and what are the best haircuts for this hair?

My hair is impossible to style! Inspiration in picture 4,5,6

I don’t know what to do with my hair anymore. I went to a salon about a week ago because I thought going somewhere more professional than my usual barber would finally help, but it somehow made things worse.

I’ve tried basically everything watching TikTok tutorials, round brush blow drying, blow drying it backwards with my hands, air drying, different products, middle parts and nothing works. If I use a brush it becomes way too straight and flat, and if I don’t use one it just looks messy and uneven.

The photo I attached is just me pushing my hair back with my hands while using a hairdryer because every other styling method makes it look worse.

It annoys me most is that no barber or salon actually cuts my hair like the reference photos I show them. Even right after the haircut it already looks completely different from what I asked for, and then after a few days it becomes impossible to style. This hair makes me tired because every way I try to style it results in bad hair.

At this point I can’t tell if it’s my hair type, bad cuts, or if I’m doing something wrong

So basically I went to a hairstylist this time in my town. It’s quite a fancy shop with a lot stylists so I expected they’d know how to cut longer hair. The female hairstylist had over 25+ years experience so I expected that she’d know what to do with my hair after I showed her the inspiration pictures.

Before I used to go to a barber and got told by people that with longer hair I should go to a female hairstylist stylist instead. I showed her these reference photos of what I wanted and told her not to remove length. She said she only thinned it out because my hair is very thick and bulky. She kept cutting and cutting with thinning shears that I’m afraid she actually cut length.

Or do I need to wait 2-3 weeks for it to get back in old form so it will gain weight and will hang more forward? Im not sure if I should be happy with the cut because it looks like I got set back once again in my growing process to the right cut.

First picture is my hair before I went to the stylist. 2nd and 3rd picture is my hair after the stylist. And the pictures after it what I showed her.

This is my natural air dried hair. I don’t know what to do with it since it’s very hard to style to get it into shape. With summer coming up I want something easy to style not something that takes 2 hours.

I really like the style in the 5th picture but not sure whether my hair can pull this off. I have been growing for months but nothing really worked out yet or felt like the right cut. Cutting it shorter also doesn’t really work since it will just curl up more.

What should I do with it?
