MAGA-slop, "CA Democratic mayor admits to being Chinese agent", not mentioned: she was a Republican at the time

Some facts you won't find in the headline:
- The Mayor of Arcadia is not directly elected, but selected by a rotation through the City Council. Wang was sworn in to the council December 2022, and 2026 just happens to be the year she gets mayorship. link
- The DOJ shows examples of the illegal coordination in the plea agreement, but the examples do not go past 2021. link
- The city and Wang's attorneys state that the relationship ended before Wang was seated on the council. link
- Wang only became a Democrat in 2022, during her City Council campaign. She was a republican during the alleged illegal foreign influence campaign. link
Getting rid of For You feeds would be great, but something needs to be done about 99% of Americans getting their political engagement via social media. MAGA accounts don't even post links to articles anymore, they just post the headline and a scary picture or a clip of a pundit spewing propaganda. 5 million accounts follow Libs of Tiktok, yeah probably the majority aren't American citizens, but that is still a ton of accounts that would get these tweets in their subscription feed.
