I bought a used iPhone 13. Did have an iPhone 8.

I transferred the SIM card, open the app on the new phone.

Input the phone number, confirm YES

1 Send a verification code, received and inputted it.

2 Message then says, you can now receive a verification code to authenticate this device.

3 Click - send code.

4 Message says, verify action timed out. Select - send new code. Get a message to wait - timed out.

Once this has done I send a code again - input code (back to stage 1)

Verification code gets sent and I enter it. And we go round and round stage 1 - 4 in a loop.

Phone never gets verified and what’s app Is not useable on the new device.
