Genuine question about dairy ethics in India and protein intake
Hey everyone,
I’ve been trying to understand the ethical side of dairy in India properly. I do gym regularly and protein intake is important for me, so I currently use products from Amul because I heard it collects milk from local farmers instead of being like large factory farms in the US.
Is it actually more ethical compared to western dairy industries, or do similar unfair practices still happen here too?
Also, if anyone here knows better alternatives/brands in India for protein and milk products with better animal welfare practices, please suggest. Just trying to learn honestly, not start a debate.
