I've had Rogers Xfinity (2GB Down) for over a year. At first I was with Oxio (1GB Down) with no issues. Rogers was installed and uses the same wiring. However, the packet loss was crazy bad. It took 5 tech visits and replacing my house wiring to solve it. Lately (4 weeks ago) it came back but worse than ever, massive ping spikes, packet loss (late packets, or download, upload all missing)

There are random moments in the day where I can do a 30s to 1 minute without much loss but its mostly impossible to game or watch Live streaming anytime of the day.

During the latest tech visit the guy could not find any issues with my wiring or issues on their side. This same tech visited before at the start of the year and added a frequency limiter that did nothing. He left telling me to change to fiber or buy the latest modem for 25 a month..

- I've had this service working for a long time with the same configuration for months so his suggestion makes no sense

- All devices have this issue (personal PC, work laptop, phones)

- Ethernet and Wifi have no differences. Before this I even upgraded my personal PC to support 6E and get the intended speed on speed test or downloading

- Xfinity app shows the modem going anywhere from 150 ~ 2000+ MB, it drops and just asks to restart but doesn't fix the issue

- The packetloss issue is for all applications (twitch/any game/any device) suggestions online ranging from changing DNS to google, or command prompts to reset network settings didn't work.

- I purchased an EERO Pro 7 from amazon to test if the Xfinity modem was the issue. The issue is the same after bridging to EERO.

Has anyone experienced this? I have no idea why this same tech has visited twice and refuses to escalate the issue. I can't cancel without massive fees and I already negotiated a decent price when I switched from Oxio. I'm completely stuck since the tech couldn't find the issue.
